Interagency Action for Families – Child Poverty Pilot Project

The Interagency Action for Families (IAFF) is a new child poverty pilot project based in County Monaghan. It’s one of only four projects in the country chosen to lead this important work.

Who and What is IAFF ?

The goal of the project is to support families, children, and young people who may be facing challenges such as housing, budgeting, food poverty, domestic violence, or additional needs. We work together with other local services to make sure families get the right support at the right time.

My Role as Family Project Co-Ordinator:

My name is Kamila Jancewicz, and I’m the Family Project Coordinator for IAFF. My job is to:

  • Act as a link between families and services.

  • Help coordinate support plans based on each family’s unique situation.

  • Organise local working groups and case meetings.

  • Make sure families feel heard, supported, and included.

  • Share learning with key partners to improve how we all work together.

Some families may need short-term support, while others may need more intensive help — either way, I’m here to walk alongside them and ensure no one feels alone.
