Youth Supports & Activities are essential programmes designed to empower young people by providing them with the resources, guidance, and opportunities they need to thrive.

Youth Supports & Activities

Youth supports & activities fall under the umbrella of many services within Teach na nDaoine FRC e.g. Family support, My Pathways Aftercare and Community Development. 

Throughout the year these services provide various events/activities/groups for young people. Examples include:

  • Seasonal activities including, Easter Camp, Summer Jam, Halloween Camp and Christmas activities

  • Summer Camp – Youth led planned activities held over 4-5 weeks

  • Young Women’s Group*

  • Young Men’s Group*

  • Youth Café* – A space for young people to come after school to occupy their free hours. Activities include pool, darts, singing and programmes such as health & fitness and healthy cooking*

  • Youth Drop-in Service

  • Outreach School Supports: Pilot scheme with a local primary school providing breakfast and afterschool activities

*These activities take place in the Teach na nDaoine FRC Portacabin, located in the Mullaghmatt housing estate. Please click on the button below to see its location.
